Programme Highlight:

The Aviation Education Path introduces to visitors the history of aviation development in Hong Kong from some 100 years ago to become a regional transport hub today.  Through its photo gallery, the public will see the milestones of aviation development in Hong Kong, such as the first powered flight in 1911, the official establishment of CAD in 1946, the overnight relocation of the Hong Kong International Airport in 1998, the Guinness world records achieved by the Hong Kong aviation community in 2011, and the commissioning of the new CAD Headquarters in 2012.

Information on other disciplines of aviation is also presented to enhance visitors’ knowledge of aviation matters, such as:

• Number of participants is limited to 25 on a first-come-first-served basis with priority given to AEDS students and members of HKIE AC Division.
